The Boy Blogs

Hello...I am a part of a secret society, of a secret family ,of a secret website.  They call me The Boy.  No really they call me The Boy.  I’ve been thinking about this all week, so I think you might like what I write.

(It’s not as good as my mom writes, but it’s ok.)

Here it goes.

My dad really likes baseball.  I played for two years.  I had fun my first year.  My second year I had some fun.  The next year when sign ups came for baseball I didn’t join. My mom saw a look in my eye.  She talked to me a lot. I hugged her and started to cry.  I knew my dad liked me playing.  I just don’t like seeing him sad.

I took a deep breath and went up to my dad’s room.

"Dad can I talk to you?"

I told him I didn't want to play baseball and that mommy told me that it's just not my thing.  He looked at me a little and smiled.

"Ok I never want you to do anything you don’t want to do."

So if there’s any other kids reading this who are scared to talk to a parent, don’t be.  Even if they don't like what you say.  I promise they’ll understand.
