Growing Pains by Hopey

Hi it's me Hope also known as mini-me and today I am going to talk about growing pains. 

Now that I am seven I get growing pains.

Growing pains hurt like crud so much I got a migraine.

When you are grownups you stop having them.

Growing pains I mean.

I hate growing pains they make me feel like crud.

Jonas Brothers: Interview Request From One of Your Biggest Fans - Feel Free to Leave Your Answers, Here!

Mini-me has been home sick from school, all week, feeling fluish and we're both fighting the effects of the creeping crud -- don't worry, been on antibiotics for 25 hours, we are NOT contagious -- but, my youngest daughter (she's 7) is feeling EXTREMELY bored.

Until, I showed her my friend Donna's Twitter:

 

Mini-me ran for the craft drawer, while I continued to Twitter with Donna (in between coughing fits, of course) she grabbed the markers and began to make a card...for Joe Jonas.

My oldest daughter (she's 15) blogged about the Jonas Brother's 2008 Tour last summer and I asked Mini-me if she would like to share her card, to Joe Jonas, here on This Full House Kids?

"Of cawse, maybe he will even see it!"

Maybe.

What is it like to be a pop star?  What are some things you like to do most in life?

Monday Morning With Mini-me: Be Safe!

This month marks one year since the Virgina Tech tragedy - you can read more about it, here - and recently, a letter came home from my kids' schools saying that there's a guy, driving around town, who tried convincing a child to get into his car, claiming that the parents said "it was okay to go home, with him!"

Thankfully, the child knew better and thought enough to memorize half of the numbers on the perv's license plate.

This is a very scary time for my children...AND ME!

So, we talked about it and I asked Mini-me to write a paragraph about what she knows about accepting rides from strangers:

               

Mondays Mornings With Mini-Me: My Mommy's Eyes

Good morning.  Yes, it's Monday...dangit...and it's time to kick-off the week with another inspirational piece my youngest daughter, Mini-Me.

She is a morning person.  I am not.  This is where we go...head to head...as I ask Mini-Me to pick a piece of refrigerator art that best depicts her outlook for the week.

 Mommy's Forecast:  Short and sweet - kids are off from school for spring break on Thursday, Friday and next Monday.  Lazy mornings, afternoons spent picking up wet towels, late evenings with periodic moments of extreme loudness and visiting with grandparents, for morale support.

Oh, and lots of egg painting.

Our Mom is kinda, sorta busy cleaning up - AGAIN! - so, we're supposed to be able to launch our blog the first week in March, we think.
