Have you ever heard of Build-A-Bear -- if you've got kids, then you know -- it IS the quintessential hot spot for birthday parties and meeting place of girl scout troops everywhere, yes?
Well, there's a new bear in town.

Aaaaand she is only available for a limited time.

So, a tropical heat wave of excitement HAS left my youngest daughter squeeing with delight and barely breathing!
Say hello to Mini-me's new best friend - Tropical Hello Kitty just hit stores this week and the wonderful people at Build-A-Bear sent the Hawaiin-Stylin' Kitty all the way to Jersey and yes, she's staying!
Meh, what's one more? Hello Kitty has her own Flickr Pool (we've got our pictures up, too) and you can see how well she plays with other children. Besides, Mini-me (she's 6) has two older sisters and they've already been to Build-A-Bear (girl scouts, birthdays and all) but Mini-me, you know, hasn't!
Or, her brother.
He's letting her keep Hello Kitty, though and holding out for the military.
What?
Oh - he CAN make an Army Bear - well, don't tell him!

My daughter went to build-a-bear for the first time last month and loved it. She also loves hello kitty items. I know she would go CRAZY for this build-a-bear hello kitty blend.

My daughter would love to be able to hit Build-a-Bear again. She enjoys the experience, though we have to tone down the desire for outfits and such. (!$!) Still, she has a blast assembling the animal of her choice, grooming it, naming it, etc. It's fun for her and we enjoy watching her.
