The first day of kindergarten, I remember it well (I know, act surprised anyway) but, when my youngest (she's 7) started going to school full-time...well, it's sort like being granted three wishes...wetting your pants with excitement...and then staring out into space with a blank look on your face and not knowing just what in the world to wish for, first!
Then, about an hour into the morning, I started missing her and got a taste of what it would be like, when my kids would one day, go away...you know...for more than 6 hours.
How do you fit a hug in a lunch box?
I used to write my kids quick little notes of encouragement, that the lunch aides were kind enough to read to them (they are moms, too) so, I was excited to receive a samples of Kids Lunch Box Cards! Prettier (and funnier) than mine, these cards are one of my favorite picks for back-to-school and a fun way of letting your children know that, you know, you've sort of grown used to having them around, too.

So, what's OUR favorite go-to-lunch box snack?
Yoplait Kids Yogurt (featuring Dora, Diego and Backyardigans, of course!) is a healthy snack for anytime, really. My kids love the creamy texture and taste and I like the fact that the 4-oz. cups fit very nicely into my kids' lunch boxes and bags - like, in the prize pack shown above.
