Got pets?
Okay, so maybe your kids want one and you're thinking about it (sort of) but, perhaps you're NOT quite ready to share your house with something that sheds, poops pellets, or requires more attention than you, or your kids do.
Am I right?
Or, if you're like me, you've already got 2 cats, a sock-eating doofus-dog and there are just way too many kids animals running around in your house, already.
Got a Wii?
Compliments of the Parent Bloggers Network (no, really, thanks you guys) our family received a copy of the Littlest Pet Shop video game for the Wii and, you better watch out, I'm about to go all cute on your hard drive!
My youngest (she's 7) has a rather large collection of Littlest Pet Shop figures (thanks, to her big brother and sisters) and, I have to admit, it's hard NOT to look into their big, blinky eyes and feel like a total jerk, for nearly choking on all the cuteness.
Littlest Pet Shop pets, I mean.
Besides, they are sort of small, my kids do tend to leave things lying around the house and my Dyson doesn't react well to smallish things.
Plus, there's only so much you can do with an action figure, ya' know?
My baby girl's favorite toy brand is now a video game -- so, one rainy afternoon, Mini-me curled up with the Wii and was more than happy to give Littlest Pet Shop a shot.
Here a few of the video game's key features, for the Wii:
Final Verdict: I'll just let my littlest one tell you.
My kids love virtual games like Littlest Pet Shop (okay, me too) where they get to name and dress their pets (or, themselves) however they like and I was just SO happy to see that even The Boy was having fun playing something cute and cuddly -- as opposed to a game that requires the use of full body armor, or launching wicked-looking projectiles -- but, don't ask him, he'll deny it, anyway.
