I am very, very proud to partner with TheMotherhood.com, along with 9 other fabulous mom bloggers (like me) in participating in P&G's Thank You Mom Program, by sending a special shout out to 5 mom bloggers, every day, this week.
Why?
Because, nice matters AND the mom blogging community is NOT all about the blog bashing and the comment thrashing, or into the drama of virtual hair-pulling contests, either!
Moms who've received linky love bytes, already:
Today, I'm thanking my bloggy-friend Mir Kamin!
Okay, so, what can I say about Mir, that eleventy-million other people do NOT already know, really?
In her own words:
"I started this blog in 2004 while navigating the rubble of a divorce, single parenting, unemployment, and a whole boatload of squelched hopes and expectations about my life and who I want to be when I grow up."
Aaaand, eleventy-million other people (like me) grabbed a warm beverage, perhaps a big comfy blanket, clicked over to Mir's place and prepared themselves for...well...pretty much anything.
Although, much of her life has changed over the years that I've been reading her (for the better, YAY!) Mir has NOT...thank goodness.
Mir is more than generous when it comes to making her readers feel at home; not to mention, she is a BRILLIANT writer.
Just imagine feeling every possible emotion, a person's body can muster, all at once, in just one paragraph.
Don't believe me? That's okay. Go ahead and visit Woulda Coulda Shoulda and see if you can keep your face from hurting (especially, if she's having a particularly rough day) or, come away thinking...WOW...was she really talking to me?
I triple-dog dare you!!!
Thank you Mir...for sharing your brilliance, so generously and for giving me the inspiration to find solace, maybe even a little peace of mind, in my writing and bringing your point home; you know, that...yep...blogging IS waaaaay cheaper than therapy!!!
Meet ALL of the bloggers we're thanking, this week, by visiting the Thank You Moms Circle at TheMotherhood!NOTE: You can visit P&G Thank You, Mom Reunions contest site and help express gratitude to the women who've been influential in your life -- you could win $1000.
Which bloggers/moms would you like to thank?
DISCLOSURE: I have been engaged by TheMotherhood.com and P&G to participate in the Thank You, Mom Campaign and I am being paid for my time, but the words are ALL mine.
