Taken during Kmart's Playdate Place Picnic on July 16, 2011 in NYC (that's my youngest in the center, looking all, it's too hot and I'm SO done, she's 10, enough said!)
This Full House: is my personal blog I began in 2003.
Family Favorite Finds: is where I share information on products and services that perhaps help make life for families (like mine) a little easier, since 2007.
Either way, I enjoy opportunities that allow me to give back to my community, by partnering with brands, networking with writers and connecting with REAL families (both, online and IRL) and...yes...I do this AND more, ALL from my kitchen table, mostly!
The big question: How do you manage to raise a family AND update your blog(s) on a regular basis?
Good question. I try to get all of my writing done, while all 4 of my kids are in school, during the day. Some days, this actually works. Most times, I’m scrambling, to get things done, just like YOU!
The second biggest question: How many years have you been a blogger? What’s changed since you started the blog?
I started blogging in 2003 – long before Twitter, Facebook and SEO’s ruled the interwebs – as another way to connect with other moms, share stories and feel a little less disconnected with life on the outside, beyond all the poop and diapers.
Today, the personal blogging community (specifically, folks blogging about parenting, home and/or family life) has evolved and often times approached as ONE rather large group of parenting experts. There are as many style blogs and different types of bloggers today as there are color choices in Martha Stewart's collection of, well, what doesn't the woman have her hand in, anymore, right?
Rest assured, I am NO expert – as you will soon learn, reading my blog(s) – other than being able to listen to at least 4 different conversations, at once.
I do, however, enjoy sharing real-life stories – which is the core reason I began blogging AND hopefully, to help make other parents feel a little better about themselves (I'm REAL good at that!)
If you’re interested in working with me – I invite you to check out my MEDIA KIT, too!
If you're just looking for another reason to ignore the laundry – I don't blame you, feel free to read my parenting blog (when you have time, of course!) or shoot me an email and we'll talk!
Or, tawk (if, you're from Jersey!)
