Thanks to the seemingly magical power my daugter has over the weather, Ernesto, like every other major storm and problem recently missed us, sans some steady rain.

But with us waiting until the last minute with school preparations and her enrollment in a new private school, we NEEDED the time.

We even managed to sneak in a bar-b-que on Sunday with some friends while my daughter and the friends 2 boys played.

Sorry to hear your weekend got...well... washed out. Next time, take the camping out with dad option. :)

I guess you don't want to hear that a) school here started three weeks ago and b) we're having the loveliest weather imaginable.

So I'll just point out that I don't know how we're going to afford milk, gas or college, either. We've gotten our son through 7 semesters, but that last one is going to kill us.

Welcome! Some Caw-fee? Tea? Chocolate?

  • My name is Liz and I have been blogging at This Full House of mismatched socks and crunchy feet since 2003. This is where I enjoy writing about the trials and tribulations of raising 3 teens, 1 tween and killer dust bunnies. I also manage a shopping/lifestyle blog where I share information on products and services that perhaps help make life for families (like mine) a little easier. Feel free to stay a while, but mind the killer dust bunnies -- THEY BITE!!!
