Congrats on the new gig! I've had this idea in my head for a Michigan Moms Blog for some time now, but don't know how to start one myself. Maybe the SV Moms could help?

Thanks for the tip off on the new Deep South Moms blog!

Bless your heart. ;)

Hey Liz.
Thanks so much for letting everyone know about this new site.

Yes, we are THRILLED that you will be contributing on NJ Moms Blog. NJ Rocks (OK, I am totally biased! I grew up in the Garden State and miss it terribly!!! Can't wait to read all the posts that will be going up by the NJ Moms... and if you are a NJ Mom Blogger and would like to join our newest site, let me know! What, another place I have to track you down to? (Just kidding of course, This "Bennie" would follow you anywhere... just don't tell Garth (not his real name).

In one post you brought out both everything I love and the things I have come to loathe about the shore.

I don't mind other kids comimg over and joining me and my daughter at the beach, but it drives me absolutely bonkers when I run into these people that seem to think I came to the beach to be their baby-sitter. A thank-you, or some sort of gesture would be nice, rather than them seeming to just allow the world to watch their kid for them.

Sorry, for the tangent, and congrats on the new gig, I can't think of a better rep for New Jersey. :)

I love this post! Congrats on the New Jersey Moms Blog...that's so cool!

And I love the beach photo. It's really awesome.

Despite the crazy traffic and crowded beaches, I love living in NJ too! Great post! :-)

My sister in law lives in Montclair, NJ and it is really pretty.

Hi pamela,

My husband went to school up that way and totally has an ivy school sort of feel (and look) to it!

Welcome! Some Caw-fee? Tea? Chocolate?

  • My name is Liz and I have been blogging at This Full House of mismatched socks and crunchy feet since 2003. This is where I enjoy writing about the trials and tribulations of raising 3 teens, 1 tween and killer dust bunnies. I also manage a shopping/lifestyle blog where I share information on products and services that perhaps help make life for families (like mine) a little easier. Feel free to stay a while, but mind the killer dust bunnies -- THEY BITE!!!
