So, what's it like, 6 people living in a 7 room house?

This Full House is a full-frontal encounter into my life as a SAHM, lover of multi-functional gadgets, slayer of ALL appliances proved slow and/or inefficient, with 4 children, 2 cats, 1 super hyper sock-eating chocolate lab and 2 damned much laundry.

Mommy's Little Eye Candy - Resurrected!

Thisfullhouseeyecandy_2

A few years ago -- long before Twitter and SEO's ruled the Internets -- someone came up with MILF and I thought...ICK!...and then I had this idea of hosting a weekly series of photos and blog posts targeted towards more frazzled-out and frustrated moms, like me.

Then, with just one click, I blew up my blog and lost 2 years of eye candy!

[bows head in a moment of silence]

I think it's about time we resurrect some good old-fashioned mommy porn of our own; hopefully, translating it as NOT having to feel guilty about wanting to stay in bed and pulling the covers over your head, or worry about how you should probably be doing something a little more, you know, constructive instead.

Like, food shopping, doing laundry, or something.

Riiiiight.

I don't think so!

In fact, Mommy's Little Eye Candy will make you LOVE Mondays...yeah, that's right...or, help you forget the worry and stress you feel about the rest of the week.

For a little while, at least.

[big toothy grin]

Ready for this week's Eye Candy?

Michaelphelps_2

"If you dream your biggest dream, anything is possible. No matter what you set your imagination to, anything can happen." ~ Michael Phelps

Michael Phelps met HIS amazing goal of winning eight gold medals, breaking Mark Spitz's previous record of seven from the 1972 Munich Games, when the Americans won the 4x100-meter medley relay in a world record time.

HUZZAH!

Yes, the boy makes for some serious eye candy and (for our family) Michael Phelps has become a household name synonymous with that of a superhero!

Why?

Besides the fact that, after his historic race, Michael Phelps moved through a mob of photographers to share his moment with his two sisters and mother.

[heavy sigh]

Early on in the games, the kids and I were watching one of his (MANY) television interviews in Beijing and I was totally impressed by his positive presence -- something we ALL could use a little of, right about now -- specifically, he was asked his thoughts on Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe's statement of how no one could possibly win eight races at a single Olympics, including Michael.

Way to squash someone's life-long dream, mate.

[rolls eyes]

No worries, though - Michael Phelps clipped the article and taped it to his locker, saying:

"It fires me up, so much!"

Indeed, it did.

It also taught my kids (and me) some really important lessons -- like, finding courage and perseverance in the face of doubt -- and I have only this to add:

"In your face, Ian Thorpe!"

Oh, and one more picture, for the road.

These boys of summer make for some swimmingly good Eye Candy, yes?

My job is done, here -- go in peace.

He is a super hero...we should get him a cape! :) (Nice photos!)

Well now you know where I'LL be every Monday. ;)

I've been amazed at what he's done and by the fact that he really seems to be well-grounded as a person. However, the mother in me always wants to ask him to pull up that swimsuit an inch or two!

Then again, I was just the right age (14) in 1972 to have a HUGE crush on Mark Spitz.

Mmmm, I think I just may like Monday's again.

I just KNEW who it was before I even clicked through! You naughty, naughty girl!

Yuck, I just had to google MILF.
EEEEEEEEEEEEwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Yes, Mr. Phelps is some serious eye candy.
I liked his reply to being the next Mark Spitz.
"I'm just working on being the first Michael Phelps."

Looks good to me!!!!

MMMMMM....eye candy!!!

ooooh
ahhhh
love it!
