Go Pink with Let's Dish: Helping families cope and kick cancer's ass, for real!
Okay, I know what you're thinking - seriously, what's up with all the pink ribbons this month - but, what if I told you that (this time) I heard about this pretty cool food website called Let's Dish and their campaign to do something, you know, real to help families affected by breast cancer?
Aaaand, you don't have to buy, collect, or lick anything.
It's called the Pink Dish! Campaign and (as a blogger, suffering from the overuse of exclamation points!!!) I'm very excited to tell you that there are OTHER ways in which you can show your support for breast cancer awareness and NOT feel as if we're, you know, selling out.
Pink Dish! Campaign's mission is pretty clear:
"Provide meals to those who need them – in this case supporting families living with breast cancer through the donation of healthy meals at no cost."
All donations go towards Let’s Dish! gift certificates (4-meal session, assembly and delivery included - a total retail value of $140) which will then be given to families whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.
So, how can we help?
Well, you can nominate a family who you feel could benefit from this donation - plus, one deserving family will be selected to receive a year's worth of Let's Dish! meals...for free!
Oh, there are lots of OTHER ways in which we can help - in my eyes, reading this far has made you a total rock star - but, it's important to remember, you know, it's NOT always about the commercialism. Behind every statistic stands a real person AND someone who is missing them, every day.
Personally, I've always been partial to rose-colored glasses and choose to believe that even the smallest gesture of good faith and hope will be appreciated, by someone.
Either way, it is totally up to you.
Oh, and if you decide to blog about Pink Dish!, they will donate another $5.00 to the campaign.

Well, that was easy!
