So, what's it like, 6 people living in a 7 room house...besides, 2 danged much laundry, I mean?

This Full House is a full-frontal encounter into my life as a full-time mom, part-time writer (okay, stop laughing) lover of multi-functional gadgets AND slayer of ALL appliances proved slow and/or inefficient, with 4 children, 2 cats, 1 super hyper sock-eating chocolate lab...oh, and 2 danged much laundry.

In other words, I make OTHER mothers look good...since 2003!

As one of the 100 bloggers -Thanks Stop & Shop for continuing to spread the word.
I am a loyal customer of the Bayonne Stop and Shop. Yo're the best!

My normal way of "dealing" with the holidays is to bury my head in baking cookies and not looking up until around Jan. 2nd.

This year I am taking a little more time to stop and thank the people that I know that make the world a better place.

Liz... On behalf of myself, the Food Bank, and just about every life you touch... thanks. And Happy Holidays.

Great idea and happy holidays! Another $1 in the bucket :-) Best of luck!

Jennifer James

This is wonderful. I'll be sure to retweet. Happy Holidays!

Jodi

We are having the usual Christmas dinner at MIL's house. I love holiday food!

Mercedes

Thank you Stop and Shop!

TechyDad

Tonight we're having fried fish with steamed cauliflower. Tomorrow night is Pizza night. Then, for Christmas night, we're having our traditional Chinese food. (We're Jewish and don't celebrate Christmas. Chinese restaurants are about the only places open so that's become our tradition.)

Liz,

This is awesome that you're organizing this - talk about someone who doesn't need one more thing to do during the holiday season...but you find a way!

The Food Bank is so deserving. Organizations that feed the homeless and poor are among the hardest hit by the economy - they have a greater need, fewer donors and higher costs. Thanks for making it easy to help!

Netta

This is great.
What a beautiful thing.

Thanks for setting up this program with Stop and Shop....and thanks to Stop and Shop for their spirit of generosity to those in need. I wrote a post yesterday with a link here, so hopefully I've sent some of my best commenters and additional $$ to the FoodBank.

By the way, I believe Dooce closed her blog to commenters once she got popular... so she may have more visitors, but she won't get 300 comments like you will!

Happy holidays!

Wendy

I happily followed a Twitter tweet here to chip in $1! Great idea!

kristi

Found you on twitter courtesy of mom bloggers club.
Sending a buck your way.
Nice thing you're doing.
Glad I can contribute in some small way :)

Happy Holidays!!

What a great thing for Stop and Shop and Liz to do. Thank you, it really is a rough year for a lot of people.

bonggamom

What a wonderful cause. We're having spaghetti and meatballs tonight and hopefully with your donation some other families down on their luck will also be able to have a good dinner.

Of course I'll help spread the word! Thanks to you and Stop and Shop (sounds like I'm thanking 3 people) for doing this.

Melissa

This is awesome, Liz!

PeeWeeMom

Liz - great job and great job by Stop & Shop - yeah them! Keep this going people - tell everyone you know to comment. Mommybloggers are making it happen - woo hoo!

Chag

I think it's great you're doing this! I hope you get to 300!

And we had tacos for dinner.

tim

Great idea. The Community FoodBank of New Jersey does great things - thanks for spreading the word

mannequin

Jersey? But I'm from MD. What's this got to do with me? I don't even like Jersey.

Only I DO care deeply about people that are in need ... for the grace of God, there go I. It's horrible to think that right here , maybe five blocks away is a family with no food. That is just so sad and how can anyone NOT help?

What a wonderful thing for Stop&Shop (and Liz) to do. That's quite generous of them! AND considering that you dress like Pat Benatar, that's really, really gracious of them to look past.

We're having Christmas dinner this evening since my son has to be shuffled around between parents.
Itsa toikey for us!

Happy Christmas Liz and thanks for a year of laughter, kindness, sadness bloggin!

Soo

Thanks to you and Stop and Shop for this. Hunger in the U.S. is not necessary.

Roxiticus Desperate Housewives
