Beautiful pics. We just took a trek like this today... I haven't even had time to post about it yet. We had a blast. Something about the weather just lends itself to this type of outing.

Beautiful! I miss fall. Where I live there are no seasons besides HOT and not hot. There is no cool or cold. Occasionally rainy. I miss cold days, sweaters, boots.

I hope you enjoyed the day. I'm having days like that. Ithink I'll take your advice. Autumn is a spectacular season that invites you to enjoy those deep shades and setting sun.

Oh... what would we do without seasons? I love the bare trees and crisp air. Makes the fireplace all the more welcoming!

I have metroparks right by my apartment and the BF and I never go enough. I'm such a "talker" about going and we've only been a few times this fall. I should put it on my weekend of things to do.

Welcome! Some Caw-fee? Tea? Chocolate?

  • My name is Liz and I have been blogging at This Full House of mismatched socks and crunchy feet since 2003. This is where I enjoy writing about the trials and tribulations of raising 3 teens, 1 tween and killer dust bunnies. I also manage a shopping/lifestyle blog where I share information on products and services that perhaps help make life for families (like mine) a little easier. Feel free to stay a while, but mind the killer dust bunnies -- THEY BITE!!!
