Proud supporters of:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
All politics aside - really, I don't even know who I'm voting for yet - I am trying to focus on the all the GOOD things that our guys and gals are doing over there, here and everywhere.
Our Mission:
- Recognize and acknowledge members of the U.S. armed forces and their families.
- Show support and let them know that they are NOT forgotten.
- Contribute and dedicate one blog post, every Friday, in tribute to those who stand ready to die in order to protect our freedom AND the freedom of others.
- Honor their service and sacrifice by finding ways in which we can ALL pay tribute.
- Create, dedicate and update a Wall of Honor listing the names of soldiers and their families entered into the weekly roll.
Be sure to grab a badge and link back to Red, White and Blue Fridays, enabling other bloggers to join in paying tribute to our soldiers and their families.

Regardless of the fact that you are a democrat, republican, liberal, independent, conservative, left wing, right wing, or a giant purple people-eater - WHATEVER - wouldn't it be nice if we could ALL just...you know...come together and NOT be afraid to flaunt our red, white and blue....yeah...I mean, that's what the blogosphere is for...YES?
Any questions, or trouble copying the code, feel free to email Liz at: thisfullhouse@verizon.net
Thank you for taking the time to stop by - support our troops, bring them home, treat them right - HOOAH!
You are MORE than welcome to read through our RWBF posts or join the RWBF Group on Flickr!

Edited to add:
If people want to do something in honor of Major Olmsted - my inspiration for starting Red, White and Blue Fridays - they can send donations to a fund that has been set up for the four children of CPT Thomas Casey, who served under Andy and was killed while trying to help him.
The address is here:
Capt. Thomas Casey Childrenâs fund

Thanks so much.

I was very moved by the kind thoughts, emails and comments left regarding my tribute to Major Olmsted, who was killed, in Iraq, on January 3, 2008.
So, I've decided to make a commitment and dedicate one blog post to simply say:In memory of Sgt. Olmsted, I dedicate Red, White and Blue Fridays to my only sibling; my twin brother, who my kids affectionately refer to as, Uncle Bud.
Yes, I have a twin and - unlike me - my children absolutely adore their Uncle Bud.
He is currently serving full-time in the Army National Guard and his unit is scheduled to deploy to...somewhere...far, far away...sometime in the spring of 2008.
That's it - short, but sweet - showing our soldiers support is my priority number one.
Let's keep it going, okay?
