So, what's it like, 6 people living in a 7 room house?

This Full House is a full-frontal encounter into my life as a SAHM, lover of multi-functional gadgets, slayer of ALL appliances proved slow and/or inefficient, with 4 children, 2 cats, 1 super hyper sock-eating chocolate lab and 2 damned much laundry.

Edited Version: I make OTHER moms look good!

Sleep Is for the Weak: A quick peek into the Momosphere.

Sleepisfortheweak_5

Speedy Synopsis:  The best of the mommybloggers including Amalah, Finslippy, Fussy, Woulda Coulda Shoulda, Mom-101 and more!

One of the reasons I enjoy blogging, so much -- besides, the flexible hours and the fringe benefits of hanging out in my pajamas and having unlimited access to the delete button -- is the extreme sense of community and respect we share, for each other.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could take a piece of the blogosphere and wrap it up in a tidy little book, to take with us, in real life?

Take a quick peek into "Sleep Is for the Weak," here!

Back-to-School Picks & Giveaway 2008

Backtoschoolpicks

Seriously -- mine STILL have a few more weeks to go -- but, isn't it time we ALL started thinking about kicking our kids...ahem...back-to-school!?!?

Having 4 kids, attending 4 different schools this year (yes, in the same town) my husband, Garth (not his real name) and I try really hard to pick and choose our children's back-to-school supplies very, very carefully!

It doesn't always work.  Sometimes, we score...big time.

Like now (during the week of August 25th and September 1st) I've got lots of great stuff to share with you.  These picks, as always, are advertorial free.  No one is paying me, to talk about their product.  It's just some really nice stuff that I thought you guys would like, too.

Oh, did I mention the really cool prizes and awesome giveaways!?!?

Mom and Mini-me's Most EXCELLENT Adventure!

I wrote a blog post about Mom-nesia and was recently interviewed for a piece on ABC News (I know; don't understand exactly how that happened) and truly believe that it really DOES exist and the more children you have, the less brain cells you're left with at the end of the day.

They're lucky I remember their names - let alone, their birth dates - I mean, these poor kids have to share EVERYTHING...even me!

Yesterday, Mini-me and I were invited to a private screening of the new Kit Kittredge - An American Girl Movie in New York City (I know; don't know how that could have happened, either!) and, since it was her birthday, we decided it was a terrific way to celebrate her 7th year at the measuring wall and bought two round-trip train tickets into The Big Apple.

That's right, I decided this time, there would ONLY be room for two!

Hip Hop and Lemon Drops

Having a fabulously fun time here in Camp Baby (wink, wink, a totally great blog hunt clue) but, am more tired than a pig in a poke - man, I'm hanging with Ninja Poodles and drinking waaaaay too many lemon drops!  Evidenced by photo ops, here.

Will blog all about it when I get back home and only after spending a wonderful weekend with another dear blogging friend of mine, Dana.

Yep, I'm picking up momma de la Dana Files at the train station and we're having a good old-fashioned mommy sleepover; complete with lots of popcorn, ice cream, sticky treats from the boardwalk and perhaps some hair braiding will be involved, even!

A virtual Camp Mommy, if you will.

In the meantime, feel free to check out our family review on the Hip Hop Harry DVD - Move Those Feet!

Have a great weekend and if anyone needs me, I'll be snuggled on the couch next to Dana...asleep.

This Full House Reviews: The Zula Patrol Explore Space DVD

Zulapatrolexplorespace_3Don't let the cover fool you; as it nearly convinced my six-year-old that it would perhaps have been better, if we were able to blow evil aliens from the face of the earth, or something.
