If you're like me -- a frazzled, wigged-out and often frustrated mom (or dad) walking around with a slightly overwhelmed game face -- then, perhaps you'll understand how planning meals (like, ahead of time) is not one of my strong suits.
The whole reason behind blogging our House Favorite Recipes is that, at least once a week, I get a chance to share some really cool (i.e. easy) stuff to say when kids insist on asking "What's for dinner?" for the eleventy-hundredth time, already!
This week, I'd like to introduce you to a new website I've found called FoodieView.com and their latest free meal planning feature.
The feature is called the FoodieView Meal Plan of the Week + Grocery List. Like the name implies, this feature is a seven-day lunch and dinner meal plan with corresponding grocery list (YAY!) intended to save families (like mine) time and money by taking the "What's for Dinner, Mom?" guesswork out of low cost meal planning, grocery shopping and recipe preparation in full 7-day increments.
Foodie Views of the Day is a fun way to see what other bloggers (like me) are cooking, or (more importantly) NOT.

I've got 4 kids attending 4 different schools (yes, in the same town) and have often relied on bakery cookies, cupcakes, etc... for the myriad of school events we've been "volunteered" for over the years (I feel comfortable admitting that now, only because, White Trash Mom says it's okay) but, never have I ever considered "prettying-them-up" like this.
Brilliant, no?
Seriously, I love learning about easy little tips and FoodieView.com is a website I plan on revisiting, a couple of times, weekly.
Although, they had me at Mojitos!
