Like my oldest girl (she's 15) my middle daughter (she's 13) has a babysitting gig this summer and something's gotta be wrong, somewhere, when your kids start earning more money than, you know, you do.
[tsk..tsk...say no more]
Aaaaanyway, Heather had a couple of bucks burning a hole in her pocket, so she offered to take my youngest daughter (she's 8) to see Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and, I have to admit, I was sort of jealous.
SPOILER ALERT!
"It was the best one yet, but the poor squirrel STILL didn't get the acorn!!!"
I love the banter between Ray Romano, Dennis Leary and have a secret little crush of John Leguizamo, ever since playing Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet.
[heavy sigh]
Sid the sloth is sort of cute, right?
Aaaaanyway, my friends at Golin Harris sent us Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs for Xbox, last month (yes, they asked first) and, well, my kids have been playing it ever since.
So, since I haven't had a chance to get my hands on it, here are some key features from my 10 year-old son (unedited):
The levels are sort of not very hard and pretty fun
- There's a lot of movement and action
- It's a bit easier to use than other games because other games have a bunch of moves you have to memorize and this one only has one or two
- I like how the storyline is put together and how you sort of have to play all the characters with each different level, even the crazy squirrel
There you go.
