We love gummy-type stuff like bears, fruit, hot dogs, life-savers, penguins, sharks, teeth, worms and basically anything that can be molded into something totally gross-looking, like slugs!
So, when the kids found out that Wonka brand candies has a new collection of gummie candies that hit stores this summer, featuring Sluggles Gummies and Sour Puckerooms Gummies, well, they tore into them like mosquitoes on exposed, sweaty skin...nasty little blood-sucking-ankle-biters that they are -- I mean, the mosquitoes...not my kids!

My youngest (she's 8) even shared a couple of packs with her friends...
The NestleFamily.com introduction into the world of gummies, made with natural ingredients and 25% real fruit juice, feature two varieties:
- Puckerooms, which are sour, mushroom-shaped gummy candies in Cherry, Lemon-Orange and Grape flavors
- Sluggles, classic sweet gummy candies shaped like slugs, bugs and snails in Orange, Grape, Lemon and Strawberry flavors
So, how'd they taste?
Glen and his buddy (also 10 and over for a play date, along with the girls, because, heck, what's one more kid, right?) liked the sour gummies, the best...
Both the classic and sour gummies had a much brighter, fruitier taste -- if that makes any sense -- than, other gummy-type snacks we've tried and have no artificial colors or flavors...which is real nice to know, seeing as we polished off 4 bags, in one afternoon.
