Today, I'm thanking my bloggy-friend Dawn Meehan!
I first met Dawn at J&J's Camp Baby and then was thrilled to learn that we'd be attending the 2008 Glamour Reel Moments Film Festival hosted by Suave, together (yeah, I know, STILL don't know how that happened, either) because, she has 6 kids and that's 2 more kids passed crazy...in my book.
I kid (sort of) because, there are MANY facets to Dawn's personality!
Visiting with Dawn is always an adventure -- especially, when there is a hot tub and/or an iPhone around -- long story, short (you're welcome) we did not pack bathing suits, it drowned and the memorial service was beautiful. -- 'nuf said.
Dawn is the suh-weet-est, wittiest and perhaps the funniest person I have every met (IRL) and it ALL comes out in her blog -- she is truly a brilliant author!
I mean, she cranked out 2 books in, like, 2 years -- Because I Said So
Dawn has gone through some really rough times (she's recently become a single parent) yet, her faith in believing that life is meant to be lived, to the best of one's ability, is infectious and I feel very lucky to be able to call her...my friend.
Thank you, Dawn...for sharing so much of yourself with others and for remaining honest and open with your readers, even though some of them haven't left the nicest comments (seriously, IMHO, bad form people) aaaand, for inspiring me to find faith and guidance in seeking out the simple things in life.
Like, seizing the moment, by totally immersing myself in a hot tub, fully-clothed and, in turn, sharing a hearty belly laugh with an awesome friend -- R.I.P. iPhone.
