We are HUGE fans of Klutz.com at our house (not just because of the name, either!) IMO, their activity books are perfect for those times when you find yourself in need of a break from replacing batteries, or just looking for some creative quiet time.
This week, I am recovering from surgery and a nasty bout of bronchitis (because, it's how I roll!) and hoping to be able to host Thanksgiving, crud free.
Soooo...YES...this IS definitely one of those times!
We received two new activity books from the Klutz.com Holiday Gift Guide (Capsters and Window Art Classic) and I'm not sure who enjoyed them more....me, or the kids.

Capsters uses bottle caps, specially sized round art, charms, gems, glitter and special goo, all included within the book!
These projects are easy-peasy for kids to do on their own (love that!) with lots of fun round art cut outs to choose from and I made this one ALL BY MYSELF...googily eyes and all!
Window Art Classic features ready-to-trace designs along with window paint to decorate all the glass surfaces in your house!
This was a fun project that my youngest daughter and I worked on together; Hope needed help with outlining the design with the special black paint provided. However, once we let it dry a little, she found it easier to fill in the colors on her own.
24 hours later (suggested drying time) it was ready to peel and stick to any smooth surface.
The result? Colors are vibrant and prettier than your average cling, no?
SUGGESTION: We had enough black outlining paint for only 1 more project and would have liked an extra bottle to work with.
Although, Hopey created these clings yesterday (on her own, YAY!) without the black outlining that turned out great, too!
