As my children grow older (um, yeah, I know, me too) coming up with good gift ideas (i.e. they like it and I can, you know, afford it) well, it is becoming more and more difficult.
Shopping for teenagers is REAL hard!
I was recently contacted by Things Remembered about their new line of personalized gifts for 2010 and was interested to learn about their partnership with the Make A Wish Foundation.
Why?
The folks at Things Remembered have developed a very nice array of engravable gifts to choose from, while allowing their customers the chance to, you know, give back, as well.
I did! Want to see?
FYI: It's currently on sale for $29.99 and you will have to pay extra for engraving and shipping (FREE standard shipping on orders of $100.00 or more) the total cost for engraving will be listed before ordering.
This bracelet is SPECTACULAR and I promptly put it away for my Christmas baby -- our middle girl is turning 15 on December 28th -- shhhh, don't tell her...okay?!?
In fact, my husband and I were SO impressed by the quality, I went on ahead and ordered the 2010 Make a Wish Necklace (i.e. paid for it ourselves) for my oldest daughter's birthday -- she turned 17 today!
Holly's wearing the 2010 Make a Wish Necklace for her birthday, today!!!
She loves it and, well, so do I. The fact that I am NOW a mother of a 17 year-old, not so much.
Here's the BEST part: $2 from each purchase from Things Remembered Make A Wish Personalized Gifts is donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Okay, NOW I feel better (sort of) thanks, Things Remembered!
