Okay, so I have a confession to make. Ready? I am not a BIG fan of Crocs footwear...[shiver]...there, I said it!
Although, a lot of folks wear them (probably look good on you, too!) I just think they make my size 9+ feet look, well, SCARY BIG.
So, when the good folks representing Crocs contacted me, insisting that they're "not just the clog anymore," I had my doubts.
Then, I clicked through the Crocs Holiday Gift Guide and was, you know, pleasantly surprised.
Frankly, I was AMAZED (still am) at the variation of styles available, like: cozy-looking, lightweight fleece-lined boots, fun-looking flats and wedges, urban-inspired riffs on the classic sneaker, and a nice selection of mens shoes, too!?!
[shiver, but in a good way]
I am very excited to be able to feature the Croccasin loafer (seriously, awesome name) as a possible suggestion for the man (or, men) on your holiday list, this year.
Guess what? I'm keeping it...for myself...and here's why.
Holy Hannah Montana, it's a Croc (sort of) made of suede and fleece and a cutest, tiniest, little wedge, too....hmmmm!
I was looking for a size 10 mens for my husband, Garth (not his real name) to try, but received a size 10 womens (or, size 8 mens) still, they looked so inviting!
So, I tried them on. Snug as a bug in a rug (sort of) substantial, yet lightweight, looks way better than those clunky boots all the cool kids are wearing these days and, well, yeah, I'm keeping it.
The new Crocs Croccasin loafer features:
- Traditional loafer styling with the comfort, fit and feel of a slipper.
- Premium suede upper.
- Ample furry fleece lining for the winter months.
- Rubber outsole for traction and durability.
- Croslite material midsole for lightweight cushioning.
Available in Khaki/Espresso, Espresso/BLack and Black/Black (pictured above) respectively and retail for approximately $79.99.
This new style is also available in a Croccasin Boot in Khaki/Black, Espresso/Black and Cameo/Black (pictured above) respectively, retails for approximately $89.99 and can go either way, men or women, I think.
