CONFESSION: I am NOT the most organized person. Seriously, you could lose a small child in the paperwork piling up on my desk.
What? You, too? PHEW!!!
So, I often find myself registering for online payments, or receive digital copies of my favorite magazines, update notices on my favorite blogs, via email, as well as several other organizational type tools, such as Google calendars and such.
Then, I effectively stare at my laptop, in the most inefficient way and what the heck is my password, anyway?!?
[heavy sigh]
Last month, thanks to the good folks at http://theblogfrog.com, I got a sneak peek into Manilla, a new household account organization site.

Quite frankly, I had my doubts.
So, I started slowly, by adding my Paypal and Continental frequent flyer accounts, until Manilla asked me for details and, yep, you guessed it, I froze.
UPSIDE: Manilla provided a prompt that allowed me to retrieve my information. BONUS! Now, I am able to view my bonus miles and account balances, all on one screen. Also, I can set up automatic reminders on when bills are due, or any problems with my accounts.
[knocks on wood until knuckles bleed]
DOWNSIDE: Manilla automatically logs you out, if you remain inactive for only a few minutes, from their site. Perhaps a pop up screen or reminder to see if, you know, I'm still awake would be better? Also, having had our identity stolen (twice) I'm still a little leery about linking ALL of our financial information.
