UPDATED 8/1/11: So excited to be able to share this awesome prize with you, Heather B (comment #52) please check your email for further instructions!!!
I launched TFH Gone Shopping 4 years ago, B.F., B.T. (before Facebook and Twitter) as an extension of my main blog, which I started 8 years ago (the Jurassic period, in blogging terms) and a way to connect with families (like mine) online and share information on products and services that perhaps help make life a little easier.
My 2010 academic calendar ends in July and it is unraveling (literally) as we speak.
So, when the good folks at Blue Sky contacted me about their new organizational product line designed by Susy Jack, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
Because, I'm old school like that.
Blue Sky Home Series by Susy Jack is clean, contemporary and, well, I just love the 8 x 10 horizontal view, for the entire month and corresponding weekly pages, including a "to do" list and plenty of room for notes, too! To develop this innovative line, Blue Sky went directly to moms to learn real-life insights: the mousepad, that also functions as a notepad, is sheer brilliance! Once the pages are all used up, you still have a pretty little mousepad (BONUS!)
The Blue Sky Home Series fills a need that online calendars cannot: visual calendars provide "hands on" access and can be centrally located within a home/office.
The Susy Jack "Don't Forget" door hanger: is a great reminder tool for teens and tweens (since, they insist on keeping their door shut, more and more, these days, anyway!)
Also, moms (like me) planning on attending the BlogHer Conference in San Diego in 2 weeks (WHOOT!) and prefer paper, over squinting at a tiny lcd screen, in a vain attempt at organizing a semi-coherent schedule.
FINAL VERDICT: I've been testing out the Blue Sky Home Series for about 2 weeks and have the entire month of August (most of September, too) clearly mapped out and that's saying something, just sayin'!
Want some?
The good folks representing Blue Sky have offered to send one (1) of our readers a sample package from their Home Series line of organizational products (featured in this post) to have and to hold at your house, too.
