With 6 people, living in a 7 room house (seriously, see for yourself!) I feel it safe to say that the number one challenge of owning a small home is keeping our every day necessities neat and organized.
Add a couple of kids (or, twenty) into the mix and, well, then we're lucky if we can keep the clutter to a minimum.
I was contacted by the owner and president of a local company here in New Jersey called Bath Extras. She and her husband invented a new product called the Butt Bench.
I know what you're thinking. Because, I probably thought the same thing too. Butt Bench?!? Really?!?
Still, in an effort to shine a light on small businesses (most especially, if they're local) I am SO GLAD to be able to introduce you to this week's favorite find -- yes, REALLY!
UPSIDE: I've had a chance to use my Butt Bench [grin] for a week now and I am very pleased with it's quality and appearance. It features built in sliding suction cups to hold the bathseat in place (it stood up to the hop/wiggle test!) which also makes it super-easy to install and/or remove (no permanent drill holes to hide, ahem!) and the Butt Bench is sealed with a water-proof finish.
DOWNSIDE: I can't really think of any, at the moment, besides the fact that my two oldest daughters (they are 16 and 18) insist on using MY BATHROOM (all 3 of my daughters share the master bedroom, which holds the only other bathroom in the house and it has a shower stall) however, they'll just have to wait their turn.
RETAIL PRICE: Starting at $43.95 - we received the cedar bench which is the higher end (no pun intended!) still, at $52.95 to $56.00, in my opinion the convenience and comfort is worth every penny.
SPECIAL OFFER: Use CODE ILUVBB to get 10% off on all Butt Bench items, until February 15, 2012, just in time for Valentine's Day!
