Being a parent of a teen can be real difficult -- I've got 3 of them with another in double-digits, trust me, I know -- helping kids deal with acne is downright heartbreaking, considering my husband and I both suffered from terrible acne, growing up.
Although acne is common among teens (some adults too, dammit!) however, kids have enough other stuff going on (see previous parenthesis) and this is just the sort of thing that can scar a person, literally and figuratively speaking, for life.
So, when the good folks at Mom Central Consulting contacted me about the possibility of participating in a new test drive opportunity with the good folks over at MaxClarity (a foam acne medication) I was ALL in.
My oldest daughter Holly was kind enough to accept the challenge and has agreed to work with me on a month long test drive: she suffers from acne worse off all my teens and is in between acne products, at the moment.
Today, we're kicking off the blog tour by sharing a little more information about the product.
- MaxClarity Foam Deep Cleanser with 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide
- MaxClarity Foam Advanced Acne Treatment with 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide
- MaxClarity Foam Rejuvenating Toner with 0.5% Salicylic Acid
MORE ABOUT THE MAXCLARITY BRAND: Visiting the MaxClarity Difference Promise will give consumers (like us) the opportunity to view the brands commitment to providing a positive customer service experience.
The MaxClarity Difference Team is a group of staff dedicated to listening to customer feedback and using that information to improve their products and services.
NOTE: Personally, I appreciate being given the opportunity of interacting with some of our favorite brands online. However, having worked for 10+ years on the customer service side of things, dealing with the general public, while effectively representing your brand, can be REAL difficult too. The fact that MaxClarity lists their customer service team leaders by name is a huge plus in my book.
OUR MONTH LONG TEST DRIVE: Holly will wash with MaxClarity Deep Cleanser both morning and night. Then, follow her morning wash with the Advanced Acne Treatment for the day. Rejuvenating Toner goes on after her evening wash and before bed.
I can't believe my daughter is graduating high school in June (SOB!) and she is very excited about the prospect of having her braces off by senior prom (DITTO!) so, yes, celebrating these HUGE milestones...with clearer skin...would be the icing on the cake...STAY TUNED!!!
