It's no secret, we are BIG fans of Kellogg's FiberPlus brand -- it is one of a few snacks each of my kids ask for in their lunch bags and will, you know, actually eat.

So, I was excited to learn that they have a new flavor hitting store shelves this month!!!

School of Rock: Coupon Code FREE Week - Guitar Lessons, Drums Whatever, But Definitely NO Drums at Our House!

We've signed my 11 year-old son up for guitar lessons, through an enrichment program offered in our school system, which means, you know, no sleeping in on Saturdays, either!

Still, it's an hour out of our day, close to home, the program runs through December and costs us about $10.00 per lesson.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Saving Second Base and More!

Today, I bid farewell to a school chum on my home blog and, well, it was a very difficult and painful post to write.

Sharing ways in which we can help two of my online friends "eat away at breast cancer," not so much.

In fact, being able to contribute to blogging projects (like, Saving Second Base) by helping to bring awareness on important issues (like, cancer sucks!) that may be relevant to other families (like mine) feels REAL good, too!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, in honor and remembrance of the brave battles being fought by way too many of my family and friends (DAMMIT!) I will be running a series of posts, every Monday, from now until the end of October, of ways in which we can each help (small as it may seem) in the fight against breast cancer.

Why?

Because, cancer needs a good old fashioned virtual bitch-slap!
