My youngest daughter (she's 10) hates going to see the dentist (me, too) because, she is the only one of her siblings who's ever had to deal with cavities.

FREE Craft Month Projects and Events for Families at Gooseberry Patch and Michaels

Did you know that March is National Craft Month?

Me, either...dangit...however, it's NOT to late to take advantage of some really cool stuff I found online from two of my most favorite crafty-type places to shop:

I have recipes printed in Christmas Pantry and Made from Scratch and now Gooseberry Patch has a blog (YAY!)

Their social networking team has started posting terrific craft ideas on their Facebook Page - you can find them here on Gooseberry Patch Note's Page.

However, I still enjoy getting their catalogs in the mail -- sort of like missing that "new book" smell when reading my Kindle -- it's relaxing to be able to leaf through and marvel at the spectacular illustrations inside.

Q-Tips Baby Packs: How to Create the Perfect Nursery - Or, Just Send Me a Bottle of New Baby Smell, Thx!

Forgive me, but I have a soft spot for Q-tips -- besides, the fact that our family, alone, has probably gone through thousands of them, still do -- it just feels so gosh-darned good to clean my ears.

My friends at Weber Shandwick sent me over some great tips on creating the perfect nursery, by Celebrity Nursery Designer, Wendy Bellissimo to share with expectant families...NOT like mine.

Okay, so maybe our nursery wasn't as stylish, or even trendy, as Wendy's, seeing as my husband, Garth [not his real name] and I shared the same room with each of our babies -- our bedroom WAS the nursery -- but, I think these would make great additions to gift baskets I personally like to give out at baby showers:

Milo.com: Find It Local, Get It Now!

I recently reorganized our game/laundry/media/mom's hideaway/playroom to make a little more functional (i.e. more than 2 people can sit in the room, at once) however, the ottoman that goes with the new couch is out of our price range, so I'm in the market for a storage ottoman.

After spending months looking for "just the right couch," well, I am pretty much ALL shopped-out!

Even if I find "just the right ottoman," on the internet, there's no guarantees that, you know, the store will have it in stock.

For us, the 24th is when we do ALL our cookie baking and decorate our pre-made gingerbread house (thank you, Michaels!) while my youngest elf, Hope (pictured above) keeps a watchful eye on the official Santa tracker (thank you, NORAD!) in yet ANOTHER attempt to celebrate a "low-keyed" night before Christmas, once again.

Yeah, I know, good luck with that one.

"My husband, Ron, and I have two sons (Ryan and Adam) and two dogs (Blake and Sydney).
